REPORTS

ALP Paediatric Physiotherapy provides a range of specialist expert opinion reports to support children and their families. These include:

  • Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) support reports: Offering detailed assessments to assist in the EHCP process.
  • Disability Living Allowance (DLA) supporting information: Providing comprehensive reports to support DLA claims.
  • Comprehensive and structed Assessment and Recommendation support reports: Offering expert assessments and recommendations for related to the child’s condition.
  • 24-hour postural care plan reports: Developing detailed care plans to support the child’s posture throughout the day and night.
  • Teaching and guidance packages: Educating parents and caregivers on how to implement physiotherapy treatment effectively at home, in nurseries and school.

These reports are tailored to each child’s individual needs, helping families access the support and resources necessary for their child’s development and well-being.

MEETINGS

Attendance of multidisciplinary meetings like MDT (Multidisciplinary Team), Annual Review, CIN (Child in Need) meetings and other similar forums is crucial for optimizing a child's care and treatment outcomes. These meetings bring together a wide range of professionals who collaborate to assess, plan, and review the support and services the child requires.

Amina Power – Director of ALP Paediatric Physiotherapy – Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapist has advanced qualifications, including a master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice, Non-Medical Prescribing, and Injection Therapy in Neurology.

A key area of expertise is Advanced Spasticity Management, where ALP Paediatric Physiotherapy provides expert assessment for consideration of administration of Botulinum Toxin A injections under ultrasound guidance to treat spasticity for neurologically impaired clients.

ALP Paediatric Physiotherapy leads Spasticity Management Clinics for both children and adults with neurological impairments, in both the NHS and private sector.
